Guest Information

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Europe! Below you’ll find everything you need to know to make your trip smooth and enjoyable.

Travel Documents

  • A valid passport is required for entry into Germany and Austria. If you don’t already have one, please allow at least 2 months (ideally 3) to apply or renew.
  • If your passport expires within 12 months of the wedding, we strongly recommend renewing it now to avoid any issues.
  • No visa is required for U.S. citizens for stays under 90 days.

Wedding Weekend Timeline

  • Day Before – Welcome Party: Oktoberfest themed
  • Wedding Day: Outdoor wedding with beautiful lake and mountain views

Dress Code

  • Welcome Party: Feel free to wear Cocktail or Oktoberfest attire
  • Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Elegant evening attire (we will hopefully be outside for the ceremony and cocktails. Dinner and reception will be indoors)

What to Pack

  • Comfortable walking shoes (there will be some cobblestones and light walking).
  • Layers — September evenings in the Alps can get cool.

Dietary Needs & Allergies

Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut allergies, etc.) so we can make sure the menus work for everyone.

Kids / Family

Please note that the wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. That said, kids are warmly invited to join us for the Welcome Party the day before. The hotel can also assist with childcare arrangements during the wedding day events if needed.

Gifts & Registry

Your presence is the greatest gift! If you’d like to give something, we’ve created a registry. We also have a honeymoon fund if you prefer.

Weather in September

Expect mild days (60–70°F / 15–21°C) and cooler evenings. Rain is always possible in the mountains, so a light jacket or compact umbrella is smart.
